Wayne Dessaur, our principal Physiotherapist, has recently returned from a trip to the UK.
You may not know this but Wayne was a professional Cricketer back in England prior to becoming a Physiotherapist. He was an opening right-handed batsman and played first-class cricket for the following:
1990 – 1994 – Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club
1994 – 1995 – Derbyshire County Cricket Club.
Whilst Wayne was in the UK on this recent trip, he was invited to return to Trent Bridge, the home of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club. During his meetings there Wayne was asked to be interviewed during a live-stream broadcast of a Nottinghamshire v Surrey County Cricket match on Friday 30 August 2024.
Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club wanted to know all about his new life as a Physiotherapist in Australia!
